Bright, blessed Beltane!! It is SO GORGEOUS outside today. The temperature is up, the leaves are green and the Redbud trees (one of my favorite kind!) are in full bloom~ <3 What better day to release my first book?? :D

Oh gods you guys. I'm waiting with bated breath for these websites to do their thing. Something I didn't think to account for when planning all of this is that it would take a smidge of time for things to become available. I've had a decent day today. Been productive. Most of the day was spent at the day job, but during down time I got a bit of editing done. It really amazes me how easy it is for the word "was" to creep into a story! Even if you're trying to avoid it. I counted all of them before I started editing--117. Oh my gods, you guys, I finally did it! I finally found a great image for my cover art and MADE A COVER FOR RESCUED! I'm so fucking ecstatic. This has been, arguably, the biggest hold up in my progress of this book. But finally, FINALLY, it's done and I'm thrilled with how it came out.

I rocked with the boat as waves crashed against it, felt the fear Julia felt when she was captured by greedy fishermen, and the despair Marella feels while she's tied up.
